Keep calm & jingle on with good news from Tello!
The season of good cheer starts with good news: Sprint Network is Most Improved and #1 in 123 Cities in Download Speeds. What does this mean? Sprint (the network on which Tello Mobile works) is constantly improving its network performance.
While it was true that Sprint had a bad reputation when it came to coverage, that is no longer the case. Sprint had its best-ever showing with the fastest average download speed in 123 cities and continues to be the most improved carrier in the country, with national average download speeds up a significant 31.5% year-over-year.
Customers are getting great download speeds across the country from Honolulu, Hawaii, to Providence, Rhode Island. And in many cities the average download speeds are even more impressive – Beverly Hills, CA at 43.51 Mbps; Boulder, CO at 57.51 Mbps; Coeur d’Alene, ID at 44.69 Mbps; Jackson, NJ at 59.04 Mbps; and Reston, VA at 47.2 Mbps to name a few. These great results are being driven by the carrier’s Next-Gen Network strategy and largest network investment in years.
The Next-Gen Network build is unlocking the deep 2.5 GHz spectrum holdings according to Sprint.
The carrier is also glad to announce they’re excited to provide millions of customers across the country with an even better experience than before on a network that’s built for unlimited. The investment is delivering better coverage, reliability, and speed, and it’s building a strong LTE Advanced foundation for our launch of mobile 5G next year, so only good news awaits in the future.
