What are SMS purchases?
SMS Purchases are a seamless and convenient way to manage your plan effortlessly. You can check your balance, buy Data Add-On or even renew your existing plan!
Since day one, we’ve let YOU in control of your phone plan and that’s why we added this cool new feature. Plus, SMS purchases are the definition of simplicity, trust us!
From now on, you can just tap, text and purchase and you’re good to go! Plus, this is super accessible, no matter where you are. Like every other process on Tello.com, there’s no waiting in line, just instant access to everything you need, right when you need it.

How does purchasing via SMS work with Tello?
There’s a magic number we have for our Tello customers in order to buy what they need: 800
What can you purchase via SMS?
By directly texting 800, you can purchase the following:
📱Data Add-On
You’ll have to text ADD1GB, ADD3GB or ADD5GB to top up your data balance whenever you need a boost of data.
📱 Renew Your Existing Plan
You’ll need to text RENEW to renew your plan entirely.
📱Check your balance
You can also just check your account balance by texting the word BALANCE to 800.
What conditions do you need to meet to purchase via SMS?
Well, first and foremost, for all purchases via SMS, you need to have a saved credit/debit card for that line in your account. Then, for the ADD1GB or ADD3GB option, you need to have an active plan with data. Makes sense, right?
Keep in mind that you also should not have the auto-renewal of your plan scheduled in the next 24 hours if you wish to get Data Add-On.

I am going to change to another Service, I’ve begged for two days for help & I get nothing I can’t use my phone because I can’t remember my pattern of dots I have tried 62 times.I am sick & need help & can’t call.I even tried to get to factory reset & you still need dots pattern .Help ,please or I’m going to Boost!!!
Unfortunately, our Customer Support Team cannot help you reset the dots pattern or know your passcode to unlock your device. You are the only one capable of doing this. Alternatively, you will need to take the device to a repair shop.
How do I get. A card
The process is fast and easy. You just need to go to our website. Select the plan you want to get, click on “I want this plan” – afterwards, you just need to finalize the order, add your shipping, billing and payment information and you’re good to go.
How do I get the credit
In order to buy Pay As You Go Credit, you just need to go to your online account, under the dashboard, scroll down and you’ll have the button to Buy PAYG/ credit.
