Tello’s 2024 Wrap Up
As 2024 comes to a close we couldn’t help but put together the most important highlights of the year. We’ve had a blast rolling out some great features for our favorite people: YOU! So, we’re going to start by saying a huge THANK YOU for providing invaluable feedback and choosing Tello in this sea of options.

Data Add-On and SMS Purchases
We’ve started the year strong with two much-awaited features: Tello Data Add-On and SMS Purchases. Why are they so awesome? Tello Data Add-On gives you extra data whenever you need it, at super-affordable prices. Purchasing a Data Add-On is a piece of cake and it can be done in two ways: via your online account or via the other addition -SMS Purchases. Managing your Tello plan through SMS is super simple: you can add more data, renew your existing plan, or simply check your balance.
Celebrating 8 years in the telecom industry
This year wasn’t all about features, it was also about a major milestone for us: our 8th anniversary! Tello has grown from a simple idea of bringing affordable, transparent, and flexible wireless to everyone into building an awesome community that loves to save money while getting the phone service they deserve. It’s been a great ride and we’re just getting started, as we have so much more left in store for the upcoming years!
Tello International Roaming
On top of our Free Wi-Fi Calling option, that’s here to stay, this year, we’ve made extra sure your Tello plan travels with you wherever you go. That’s why we’ve introduced Tello International Roaming, which works together with your Pay As You Go balance. All you need to do is activate your Tello International Roaming and make sure you have enough credit balance! So now, wherever your adventures, business travels or new life chapters take you, you can have Tello by your side!
New payment methods: Google Pay, Apple Pay, Venmo
We get it, paying bills isn’t the most exciting part of the day. That’s why we’ve added not one, not two, but three new payment methods: Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Venmo. So, no matter which way you’d like to handle your online payments, it’s now easier than ever to pay for your Tello plan. Our goal is to make managing your plan as simple (and of course, affordable!) as possible.
Celebrating 11k reviews on Trustpilot
While our 8th anniversary was celebrated with 10k reviews, they quickly turned into 11k! (wink wink: That’s what you get when you’re the most flexible provider with the friendliest Customer Service team.)
Whether you dropped us a short line, a thoughtful suggestion, or amazing feedback, every Trustpilot review helps us grow and become better for you. And yes, we read every single one of them, for real! So, to all of you taking the time to share your thoughts, a huge thank you!

I was on the website yesterday and you had a phone I wanted, but it’s not here today. When are your options renewed? I am just switching to Tello and want the new phone, but don’t know if I can wait till you get more phones to choose from or not.
